TSW Dolphins is a swimming club that caters for swimmers from the novice level through to - and including - international level athletes.

The club was formed in 1995 when Scott Wilson, owner of the TSWSwimSchool, together with some parents, set up a racing squad with the aim of providing a competitive swimming club for the TSWSwimSchool members.

Membership has grown steadily and the club now has successful squads competing at local, regional, national and international level. TSW Dolphins holds Wellington and New Zealand age group records and is represented in the New Zealand Age Group Squad. It is ranked as one of the top swimming clubs in Wellington.  Many people ask what does TSW stand for. T S W are the initials of founder member of the club - Tennant Scott Wilson.

The majority of club members still progress from the TSWSwimSchool and training sessions are mainly at the TSW pool in Tasman St. However the club is a separate entity with its own constitution and board of management.

TSW Dolphins is affiliated with Wellington Swimming Association (WSA), the controlling body for the swimming district. Through WSA, the club is affiliated with Swimming New Zealand.
